Study “Chemical requirements for shoes for children”

A new study commisssioned by the Consumer Council identifying a number of chemicals which should be regulated in children's shoes was published in June 2016. It includes a review of the relevant literature and an examination of applicable chemical provisions in available regulatory instruments and voluntary tools such as ecolabel criteria and Restricted Substance Lists (RSLs) used by the concerned industries.This study is available as PDF-file.
