Environmental Footprint

ANEC publishes a critique of the environmental footprint methodology proposed by the European Commission entitled "Environmental assessment goes astray. A critique of environmental footprint methodology and its ingredients". The document was developed under the lead of Franz Fiala, head of the ASI Consumer Council and chair of the ANEC Environment WG. It recognises that LCA methodology has unique advantages but also features fundamental shortcomings. The position paper is available here as PDF-file (582KB)
